Caroline is a Louisville-born writer, editor, and marketing and communications specialist.

A natural storyteller and digital strategist, Caroline has contributed her creative talents to a green-economy organization, two US food banks, a university, and a community festival. She helped launch Probable Causation, a crime and economics podcast for which she served as sound engineer.

Caroline’s poetry lives in Tinderbox, The Tiger Moth Review, and Literary LEO, and her prose on Virginia Quarterly Review (Online) and in Your Green Life, among other publications. She graduated with Distinction from the University of Virginia and earned her MFA at American University—alongside the Myra Sklarew Award for remarkable originality in a poetry thesis . She resides in Washington, DC, with her fiancé and adopted cat.

When not writing, she likes to run, gaze lovingly at frogs, and cook plant-based macaroni. (She makes music sometimes, too.)
