Caroline is a Louisville-born writer, editor, and marketing and communications specialist.

A storyteller and digital strategist, Caroline has contributed her creative talents to a green-economy organization, two US food banks, a university, a community festival, and more. She helped launch the crime and economics podcast Probable Causation, serving as sound engineer. Presently, she supports Medicaid projects as a communications specialist.

Caroline’s poetry lives in Attached to the Living World: A New Ecopoetry Anthology, The Dodge, and Tinderbox, and her prose on Virginia Quarterly Review (Online) and in Your Green Life, among other publications. She graduated with Distinction from the University of Virginia and earned her MFA in creative writing at American University—alongside the Myra Sklarew Award for remarkable originality in a poetry thesis.

She lives in Washington, DC, with her bookish husband and striped cat. When not writing, she likes to run, forage, and make music.
